A smeared stamp is on the back of the mainboard, along with the usual stamp on the back of the ACI.

History

The owner until the auction in 2020 was from Chicago. Maybe he bought the Apple-1 in the ’90s.
It has the original box signed by Woz at a UCLA alumni event, with photo documentation of Woz with the box.
Online auction between December 10th and 17th, 2020 by RR Auction. The auction house called the Apple-1 the 'Westwood Woz Box.' The auction result was US$ 736,862.50, including buyer’s premium.

Components

White ceramic CPU Synertek SY6502 (7541), plastic PIA Synertek SY6520 (7630), 8 KB plastic DRAM Mostek 4096-11 (7634). All blue capacitors. All chips are from 1975 or 1976.

Equipment

Original Apple Cassette Interface (first batch SCC), original box, Operation Manual, ACI Manual. Panasonic cassette recorder, Sanyo VM4092 monitor from November 1976. Datanetics keyboard from 1977 in a wooden box. Power supply from 1976, but transformer without any date code. The internal wiring of the power supply was secured in 2020 (it was only taped).

State

Some restoration work was done in 2020 by Corey Cohen. The power cord was replaced due to the poor condition of the old one. Like some NTI boards, a part of the coating above the breadboard is missing. Probably, a sticker was removed. Some boards have a sticker at this location.
