Note: This is the 84th entry in the list and not the 84th Apple-1 produced. The Apple-1 does not have a regular serial number. Only some Apple-1 got a handwritten serial number.

The circuit board has been signed by Steve Wozniak.
The extra connector has a remarkable background (information is Elmar Baum's son): My father worked on the Apple II power supply with Rod Holt, and the extra connector (and extra diodes) on his board was used to power Apple IIs before that switching supply was completed.
From the owner:
This board was from a batch of 25 which were never sold and in a stack of boxes on Steve Jobs’ desk. Steve allowed employees to take them as the company had stopped selling Apple 1s in favor of Apple IIs. Elmer Baum (Apple Employee #34 and financier of the 1st run of Apple 1s) took 2 boards. My father, an engineer in Silicon Valley, was given one of these boards and kept it for many years.
It is up for auction in December 2019 at Bonhams NYC.

White ceramic CPU MCS 6502 Motorola (date code 11/77), plastic PIA Rockwell. 8 KB DRAM. 3 big blue capacitors, 4 yellow capacitors. Because it was handed-over as an unpopulated board, it looks like, most chips are from later period.
No Apple Cassette Interface - just the modern Apple CFF1A card from the 2000's. Triad transformers from 1975. Additional power cable added to the mainboard. Original box.
All chips not date correct and/or wrong package. No original PROMs - substitutes from 1983. 4 diodes power section changed. Added wires for alternative power connection.
Working. The circuit board has been signed by Steve Wozniak.
As currently setup:
- The system is housed in a contemporary custom acrylic case
- Keyboard input is provided by a keyboard produced by Wendell Sander in 2014
- Video output is sent to an Apple Monitor III
- Programming can be input via a CFF1A attached to the expansion slot
